On Friday 6th October, people with cerebral palsy and their families and organisations that support them unite across the globe for World Cerebral Palsy Day.
The vision of this worldwide movement is to ensure that children and adults with cerebral palsy (CP) have the same rights, access and opportunities as anyone else in our society, so by working together to raise this awareness there is a much stronger chance to make that happen.
We are pleased to announce that we are holding a Parents' & Carers' Group at The Bobath Centre that very same day, from 11am to 1pm and invite you to come and join us and take the opportunity to meet other families living with cerebral palsy.
There will be plenty of time to chat, share experiences, tips and advice over tea/coffee and biscuits and our Speech & Language Therapist, Yolly will lead an interactive discussion on the following 6 key words associated with World CP Day and what these mean to you:
We do hope you can join us, and do spread the word to other families.
