What does virtual therapy involve?
Once you have booked your chosen session, you will be sent a link to join a video call with one of our specialist Bobath therapists. During the course of the video call you will be able to ask your therapist any questions that you may have following previous therapy provided at the Bobath Centre, and discuss any issues that may have arisen since then. Your therapist may ask you some questions to clarify what the issues are and assess whether they can be addressed in the course of the video call. Your therapist may assess this using a range of questions designed to understand how you move and what can be done to improve things. If at any time during the video call you are uncertain or unhappy to do anything at all, please inform your therapist immediately so that they can make the adjustments you need.
Please note that the exercises and any advice given are specific to you and not suitable for everyone.
Any application of exercises suggested is at the service user’s sole discretion and risk. The Bobath Centre accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or injuries caused directly or indirectly through the performing of any exercises given in the course of the video consultation.
Always consult your own GP, if you’re in any way concerned about your health or anything associated with it.
After your session
After you have received your virtual therapy service, we would be grateful if you would agree to us sending you a quick Evaluation Questionnaire to fill in, so that we can continue to improve our service to you.
